She's a millennial trying to act Gen Z but actually has boomer humor energy.

Lol, Lilly calling criticism “hate comments” is just like ESclips removing the dislike count because it’s “dislike attacking behavior”.

  • Rainbow Snail

I love how she calls people who provide her criticism "angry virgins", because as we all know, your opinion and overall value as a person hinges on wheather or not you have had sex. That's not toxic mentallity at all.

I think this is Drew's best video. Even after two years, I still come back to it from time to time. I wonder how Lilly is doing now. I'm not going to visit her channel because I want to avoid giving the algorithm any ideas.

When Lilly said she wanted to be a comedian, everyone laughed. Well no one's laughing now.

Looking back in 2022, she is definitely someone who would unironically describe herself as a girlboss.

honestly, I wish the first female POC to host a late-night tv show was Mindy. she's naturally hilarious, great on camera, charming, and just all-around an amazing performer. she would've rocked something like this, I just know it.

Growing up in India, I was pretty impressed with her 'Superwoman' channel as a tween. Her content was hilarious, relatable and I had her up there on my list of fun people to be. One look at her 'show' and I knew I was done. The jokes were stale and poorly delivered. Every bit of criticism is well deserved.

  • AEacidic

She speaks in this horribly smug way. Like she's so confident in her horrible jokes.

My cousin was actually a writer on Lilly’s show (

The funniest bits from Lily are when she imitates her family members. It was slapstick and over the top but it was relatable as a child of immigrants.

Avoiding criticism by simply referring to it as "hate" is the most pathetic thing a person can do.

Used to work at an audience coordinating company that worked her show.

I actually met her in person at an event and totally lost all respect for her. She was soooo stuck up and unfriendly. It was not awkward but more intentionally rude. We worked in the entertainment industry and was at the same movie premiere she was invited to. Long story short, we offered some seats to her and her bf at the moment. We made light conversation to be friendly at the table and she straight up ignored us. Her bf was nice and polite.

Calling Lilly Singh a comedian is like calling me a ladies man. We try, but both of our attempts are complete and utter failures

I was trying to find a way to make the "hair buttcrack" joke funny and the first thing I came up with was "My buttcrack's so long it gets stuck in my hair" and that made me laugh way too hard.

  • Nefarious Purple Badger

She’s full of herself. And she deserves all the failure she gets.

I get second hand social anxiety while she's telling jokes

The problem with Lily Singh's show is that this isn't a format she would thrive in. She's objectively good at what she does on youtube with nearly 15M subscribers.
