Singing isn't the only thing people are pretending to do on musical.ly; apparently the app is home to an entirely more pretentious genre of lazy content: lip synch acting. But how far can someone go in life just by mouthing words that other people said? Turns out, pretty far actually.

Drew saying "Just cause I don't get it doesn't invalidate it" Actually made me feel a lot better about all the cringy videos I made as a kid

I love how Drew's audition skit demonstrates his actual acting ability while at the same time putting the fake acting on blast.

To be fair I used to work at a place called “Fish Daddys” so I refer to it as “The Restaurant” whenever possible

At around four minutes in, when drew is doing the bit with the audition, you can see a small sign hanging in the background with various horses on it. I have that same sign. Always have. Its always been in my house since I was a small child. I don't know where it came from. Seeing it in this video made me question everything.

Being for kids is not an excuse for poor content... not to be a boomer, but the shows I watched as a kid were pretty well made, not idiotic, not poorly created

Another thing to realize. In chicken girls, the main characters are in high school in season 1. Then, in season 3, they’re just starting high school...

Imagine going to acting classes, auditioning for shows, doing plays that will be unnoticed, just for teens to do one line from an emotion show and get comments like "WHERE HER NOBEL PRIZE? NETFLIX DO YOUR THING"

I think Avatar the Last Airbender is a really good example of a kids show that isn't dumb

Man what if this happened again but they made it a hospital drama? That would be crazy

There's nothing wrong with like 11 year olds badly lip-synching to victorious, they're just doing it for fun. But when adults badly lip-synch to victorious, expecting to get a netflix original series from it, we have a problem.

Omg, Drew's so old, he actually taps the heart instead of double tapping the screen
